▸ EARLY ACCESS — PC GAMES

You bought it.
You should be able to sell it.

When you buy a game on Steam or Epic, you don't own it. You're renting a license that can be revoked at any time, for any reason. You can't resell it. You can't gift it. You're paying full price for a rental.

You don't own your digital games

Every store treats “buy” as a euphemism for “license.” Here's what that actually means for you.

▸ WHAT YOU HAVE NOW

A revocable license

  • • The store can revoke your access at any time, for any reason
  • • You can't transfer, gift, or resell a single game
  • • If your account is banned, you lose your entire library
  • • If the store shuts down, your games may be gone
  • • You're renting indefinitely. There is no “yours”
▸ WHAT YOU COULD HAVE

A copy you actually own

  • • Resell any game you're done with on a built-in marketplace
  • • Gift or transfer it. It's yours to do what you want with
  • • Your access can't be revoked on a whim
  • • Publishers earn a royalty on every resale
  • • It's yours, the way a physical disc used to be

We're building a PC game store where ownership means ownership. If that idea resonates with you, join the waitlist and tell us what you think.

Questions

How is this different from Steam or GOG?

Steam and Epic sell non-transferable licenses. You can't resell or gift a game, and your access can be revoked. GOG sells DRM-free files but you still can't transfer a game to another player. We're building a store where ownership means ownership: a game you can genuinely transfer, gift, or resell.

Can I really resell a digital game?

That's the question we're asking too. We think you should be able to and we're building the technology to make it real. When you sell a game, your access is revoked and the buyer gains it. Only one copy exists at a time, just like a physical disc.

What stops someone from keeping a copy after selling?

When a game is transferred, the seller's access is revoked and the buyer gains it. Only one usable copy exists at any time, the same way handing over a physical disc works.
